Small studio, big clients.
Founded in London in 2011, we’re a small product design studio specialising in UX, UCD and accessibility for big clients all over the world.
By way of introduction.
I’m Evan Skuthorpe, and I run Oldworld Creative. I work across experience design and research (from discovery through testing and validation), visual design, accessibility, information architecture, and UX copywriting.
I started out writing HTML and CSS by hand designing in-browser, dabbling in front-end development, then moved into usability and interaction design. My background across the technical and the usable means I tend to think about design and engineering as one problem rather than two.
Company history.
We were founded in London in April 2011, and until recently worked out of the medieval crossroads of Aldgate — one of the seven gates of Roman London, between the City and the East End. Today we’re based in the Abbey Quarter of Bath.
Our first client was QVC, the home-shopping channel. Our work since has spanned defence, finance, telecoms, education, eCommerce, and a long line of design agencies.
